Wow, what an incredible year it’s been! Every year I look forward to going through my pictures from the previous year to pick out my favorites. I sat down to go through my sessions from 2015 and realized just how many shoots I had done, so this year to celebrate 2015 I’ll be posting my favorites from a few different categories. I love fun vivid colors in photographs, but sometimes when you remove the color it can tell an entirely different story. This image was a test shot from a series of headshots I had done previously this year. I almost passed by this image, but ended up coming back to it. Once I converted it to black and white, I saw something I hadn’t initially seen. I saw an innocence and purity in her face and eyes. Oh the beauty that black and white can bring out in an image. What do you think?
